52: The Rising of the Warrior Goddess

There are 52 cards in a deck. There are 52 weeks in a year. 52 makes a 7 in numerology, the number associated with spirituality. 52 is considered to be “the critical year” of our lives–one where we choose, really choose, how we want to play our cards for the rest of our lives. It is considered to be a year in which many wishes can be fulfilled. And 5-2 (May 2) is also my birthday. And guess what? This year, I’ll be turning 52.

So yeah, I’ve been thinking a lot about this number lately and here’s what I’ve come to know.

♠️ I know that I desire the next chapter of my life to be filled with moments of laughing so hard that I pee my pants (because, yeah, I’ve had three kids and that’s just real at my age!).

♠️ I know that I am happiest when I allow myself time to reflect and celebrate how fucking far I’ve come!

♠️ I know that it matters that I spend my days creating meaningul events that support other women as they tune into their authentic power and activate their soul gifts.

♠️ I know that the ancient wisdom of the Magi cards have helped me understand my soul essence tremendously and it can help others do the same.

♠️ I know that I desire to receive the blessings of life with open palms and an open heart.

♠️ I know that fear can no longer control me.

♠️ I know that fear will still be a regular visitor as I step into my fullness, but that doesn’t scare me anymore; it excites me and reminds me that I’m moving beyond my comfort zone.

♠️ I know that my human being is impatient much of the time, and that impatience is strongly connected to my desire is for something more.

♠️ I know that with every dream fulfilled, another one takes its place.

♠️ I know that loving myself exactly as I am is the single most important thing I can do everyday.

♠️ I know that love always wins.

♠️ I know that living a life full of passion is the only way I wish to proceed.

♠️ I know that music and dancing and singing at the top of my lungs is good for my soul healing.

♠️ I know that the Universe is FOR me (even when my human feels otherwise).

♠️ I know that when I fall, I rise even stronger.

♠️ I know that popcorn pairs nicely with red wine and Sex & the City.

♠️ I know that I have been blessed with a beautiful life, full of friends, family, meaningful work, joy & travel.

♠️ I know that the best is yet to come.

♠️ I know that all work and no play is a recipe of disaster.

♠️ Conversely, I know that all play and no work is equally disasterous.

♠️ I know that when I lead with a heart of service, that I feel more joy.

♠️ I know that there is still so much more to learn, feel & experience in this lifetime. And I am ready to embrace and receive it all!

The Rising

As I prepare to enter into the critical age of 52, I am unfurling my wings and stepping into my authentic power and activating my soul gifts. And I’m inviting you to do the same. Over Labor Day weekend this year of the snake, I am leading a transformational retreat in the sacred land of Mt. Shasta, California for women who are DONE playing small : The Rising of the Warrior Goddesses.

At this retreat we will turn off the noise of the outside world so that we can tune into the whispers of our soul.

We will come together in community to get realy intentional about undertanding what our soul gifts and challenges are.

I will guide participants through a 3-day activation series where we will devote time to discovering and awakending those soul gifts through music, art, movement, time spent in nature, reflection, conversation, and the ancient guidance of The Soul Roadmap.

We will live in eco yurts and return to the rhythm of nature— waking with the birds, sleeping with the stars.

We will nourish our bodies with farm fresh gifts from the land, prepared in the majesty of the outdoors by our holistic chef and retreat sister.

We will reclaim the divine masculine (the warrior) and feminine (the goddess) within us so that when we return home we carry with us our authentic power and light, and can be the spark of the rising in our immediate circles.
